As the Village Headmaster drama series sponsored by Globacom cruises into its 30th episode, Kabiyesi and the people of Oja Village are on a mission to find a new Iyalode for the Village. But who can fit the bill?

As things gradually return to normal following the demise of Iyalode, Kabiyesi is reminded of the importance of filling up the position of Iyalode. As the office of the Iyalode governs all women’s affairs in Oja Village, getting a woman who commands respect is paramount. While Kabiyesi discussed ways to select the right candidate for the position with his chiefs, both Councillor Kogberegbe and Chief Eleyinmi suggested potential candidates. Kabiyesi however ruled out their suggestions as they were borne out of personal motives.

To speed up the selection process, Kabiyesi tasked Iyaloja with organising the village women to nominate two women from amongst them that could take up the position, while he also sought out the advice of Priest Fagbemi. At the end of deliberations, 2 major contenders emerged, Madam Folake and Madam Asake. With the focus on being the next Iyalode of Oja Village, both women decide to run a campaign to get more of the Oja women on their side. Who would win amongst both women? Will Chief Dagbolu assist his wife Asake to succeed in this campaign? Will Kabiyesi make a choice completely different from the two women suggested to him?

It appears Udoh has made great changes to his lifestyle with his newfound wealth. He has been living lavishly, so much so that he has been successful in whisking Mazi Chinedu’s girlfriend away from him. His actions have raised questions about the source of his wealth and his decision to quit working at Mazi Chinedu’s shop. But things are about to change for him. There seems to be a new player in town searching for Udoh, with the sole aim of retrieving the money given to Udoh. Could Udoh’s newfound wealth have come from this person? What business could Udoh have had with this person and how did this suddenly turn sour?

Meanwhile, at Madam Doyin’s house, the conversation seems to be centred around two topics, the selection of a new Iyalode and the alarming rate at which foodstuffs are consumed in the house. While Madam Doyin and Abubakar share their opinion as to who will be filling the position of Iyalode, her son, Nasir shares his suspicions about the new house help, Mercy. Nasir accuses the new Mercy of stealing foodstuff from the house under the pretence of throwing away the trash, but his claims were countered by his mother and Abubakar. It however soon became clear to Madam Doyin that something was definitely wrong with the way foodstuff finished in the house, as she confirms that the family were not keen on eating a whole lot at a time. Could Nasir have been right about the house help all along? Will Madam Doyin find out the truth of this situation and how will she handle it?
