The drama continues as the Glo-sponsored series, The Village Headmaster, heads into its 22nd episode.
As change slowly makes its way into Oja Village, Kabiyesi and his Council of elders have begun to search for new hands to join the council and aid with the development of the Village. Kabiyesi invited Teacher Fadele to the palace and tasked him with finding out the history of installing new chiefs in Oja Village and the necessary criteria to be met. It however seems like Teacher Fadele was left with the impression that he might be the newly chosen chief on the Kabiyesi’s council. Will he still carry out the task given to him by Kabiyesi? Will Teacher Fadele be the chosen chief or will another emerge to take that position?
Meanwhile, justice may have, at last, been served to Madam Gbeke for her role in spreading rumours about Abubakar and Madam Doyin. In this new episode, Madam Doyin can be seen discussing with Abubakar, the punishment meted out to Madam Gbeke by Kabiyesi. Madam Doyin apologises to Abubakar for her outburst at the heat of the moment and invites him to move back into the house with her and her children. His response however left her in shock. Will Abubakar continue to hold a grudge against Madam Doyin for the way she treated him?
In spite of the warnings and punishment issued to her by the Kabiyesi, Madam Gbeke, aka ‘Small Radio Oja’, still finds the art of telling tall tales difficult to resist. While in a discussion with Iya Taju on the life and times of Chief Eleyinmi, she experiences a strange encounter with the alleged deceased Chief and flees. Madam Gbeke also made it her mission to go around the village announcing the return of Chief Eleyinmi’s ghost, while disregarding the Kabiyesi’s warnings to her about spreading unconfirmed news. It seems that there might not be a funeral in Oja Village after all or could this just be the first sighting of a ghost in Oja Village? And what will be Kabiyesi’s reaction to Madam Gbeke’s actions despite his warnings to her? And how will Kabiyesi resolve the news of Chief Eleyinmi’s death and false speculations that’s in circulation in Oja village?
