Episode 8

My door was ajar when I got home, I was sure I didn’t leave it so. I placed my ear close to the slightly opened door for any sound, there was none. As usual there wasn’t electricity so I couldn’t see much, but when I put on my rechargeable lantern..what I saw was shocking..
My television had a hole in the middle, with wood from my broken wall hanger in it. My clothes had been slashed, I could smell something really awful but I couldn’t find the location. I sat down to place a call to Abayomi..then I saw it. Whoever had broken in must have been suffering from dysentery. My bed was splattered with human dung and urine. I placed the call..
Me: Abayomi, somebody broken into my apartment
Abayomi: I think you should come to my house
Me: I say my house was burgled and all u can say is that I come to your house?
Abayomi: Just come
He hung up..
Toun was at the door when I got to his apartment, she led me inside where I met a worried looking Abayomi and Timi. I quickly explained to them what happened to my apartment.
Abayomi: Timi’s apartment was ransacked too..
Me: your bed had dung on it?
I faced Timi..
Timi: No, I think he emptied his stomach on yours.
Me: what did they do to your apartment?
Timi: my laptop is gone, the tap in my bathroom was left on and the water channeled to my room, my rug was torn with different patches of holes in it..
I laughed…c’mmon it was funny..
Abayomi: I called Uche, we have to meet him at Aiyegbami in 30 minutes.
He looked at me, his eyes daring me to refuse. I looked at Timi, his face was blank. Toun hugged me from behind…
Me: Alright..

Aiyegbami had this eerie weirdness about it, you seldomly saw girls loitering around at night, it was more silent than other parts of Ago-iwoye. Even the scanty bars that were opened weren’t playing loud music. Aiyegbami was one of the places they warned you about when you gained admission into the institution. The house in which we were to meet Uche was a three bedroom flat. It must have been built in the mid 80’s, it had the architecture. Guys were infront of the building, most of them topless, cups of ‘shepe’ was in abundant, while tobacco filled the air. A small looking boy of no more than 18 came to us
Boy: who una dey find
Abayomi: Uche
Boy: wetin happen?
Abayomi: him say make we come block am for here.
Boy: wait, I dey come, make I go ask am.
Somehow, being alone with Abayomi here started to look like a bad idea. I saw the tall frame of Uche emerge from the door, he had a stick of cigarette sticking from his mouth.
Uche: my people how una dey?
Abayomi: we dey o…howfar?
I didn’t bother with the pleasantries. That I had agreed to go along with him didn’t mean I would be all smiley. Uche led us into the sitting room where a lovely pool table was, there was a two-sitter cushion by the left, I didn’t bother waiting for uche to tell me to sit, I sat. He and Abayomi stood by the pool table to discuss.
Abayomi: hope you haven’t spoken with National yet?
Uche: No, we would meet tomorrow though
Abayomi: is there a way we can work through this?
Uche: what are you suggesting?
Abayomi: reduction in the money you want to sponsor us with, so you might not have complete monopoly?
Uche: what has changed from the last time we spoke?
Abayomi: my partner and I just think we need some kind of security..
Uche: is there something we should know about?
I looked at Uche, if he had anything to do with the incidence, he didn’t show it.
Abayomi: not at all, except ofcuz what happened at the rally.
Uche: yes I heard about that. I wouldn’t be able to decide on what you are offering, I would have to discuss with my client.
Me: that’s another requirement, we need to meet this client..
Uche smiled…
Uche: the funny thing was that he told me you would say this..he is inside with a visitor, he would come out soon..
Abayomi and Uche started discussing about politics, from Osoba to Gbenga Daniel and how PDP was going to rule Nigeria for 50yrs. They were arguing when a girl came out of one of the rooms, with the way she walked and how her hair looked, she had definitely just be f—-d..i knew her. She was one of those so called big girls that spent most of their time at Gate-way with politicians. Coming outside from the same room where she had exited from was the guy that had been with Uche at Bele, he had remarkably small eyes, very dark with a sharp-low hair-cut. He was on singlet and boxers but that didn’t make him any less charismatic, the way he walked was almost like he was a model, but there was a darkness about him that doesn’t suit a model. He didn’t bother escorting his f–k-mate, instead he gently came to sit down beside me.
Uche: Abayomi, Tana this is my client
Abayomi: bro whatsup..nice to meet you..
Me: hi
It might be an aftershave or something, but he was smelling so good and fresh…
Client: I have been wanting to meet you guys, I am Jafar.

I had a couple of questions, like why didn’t he allow us meet him earlier or if he had planned all these, instead I asked
Me: you smell nice
Jafar smiled at me like I was a kid and didn’t really know what I was talking about. He stretched his hand and uche brought him a stick of Benson and Hedges.
Abayomi: Jafar, are you a student of the institution?
He seemed as if he didn’t hear the question because it took quite some time before he answered, and when he spoke, it was like a whisper
Jafar: Oga Presido, I am a student of your institution
Abayomi: what department bros?
I wasn’t focusing on the question and answers, his hairy legs were catching my attention.
Jafar: Political Science..
Abayomi: I don’t know why I haven’t seen you in main-campus before.
Jafar smiled shyly, if Abayomi had insulted him, he didn’t show it
Jafar: I see you everytime, I am what you will call…incognito
His tommy boxer short was black, rhymed with the sheen of his skin…
Jafar: Uche you are a bad host, you for give our guests drink na..
Abayomi: I am good..
Jafar: what of you my lady?
As he turned facing me, his knees brushed mine…I cold sensation sped through my spine
Me: I took something on my way here
Jafar: aii, I have to show you guys something…follow me..
I could not describe Jafar as handsome, he was just a synonym for swag, he told us to follow him, and like me I was sure Abayomi didn’t consider declining. He led us into down the corridor into the room the girl had come out from. The room was dark, smelled fruity; his fan was at full throttle. The click that brought on the light exposed a well arranged room, spacious, with a portrait of fela smoking cannabis on the wall. Looking at his bed, I was shocked; another girl was beneath the sheets.

Jafar: Seun!
Seun(the gir): J…baby…….what…is…
I recognized Seun , she was one of those butty micro-biology girls…
Jafar: be kind enough to excuse us, go to ‘bebe’ I would join you there in less than an hour.
He gave her a wad of 500 naira notes from his table, but she rejected it..
Seun: I have money..
She was wearing a see through nightie, full boobs and shaved crotch was free to air, I had to frown out Abayomi before he could disengage his eyes from evil. She picked up her clothes that were on the chair beside the table, kissed Jafar and left.
Jafar: I am sorry for that
Me: it’s alright..
He brought out a sketch of the SUG section at mini-campus, made in pencil, showing where he wanted his restaurant, game and cd shop.
Jafar: as you can see, the proposed sites are hidden from view, if we don’t have sole patronage, we would crash..
Abayomi: we could provide you with vintage points
Jafar: nope, those places highlighted will do just fine
I was sure they wanted to do clandestine things there, who would want his shop in a hidden place..a hidden restaurant?
Jafar: any other person can have their restaurant, but not cd and game centres.
Abayomi: even if we agree to half your offering price..
Jafar: even if you offer me for free…
Me: why do you want your shops in hidden places?
Jafar looked at me, he looked into my eyes like he expected me to get the answers from looking at his..
Jafar: because I want the restaurant to be exclusive and I also want the people coming to play games or buying Cds to feel comfortable doing so without the prying eyes of everybody.
Bullshit! but ofcuz I couldn’t tell me..
Me: okay..
Abayomi: can we sleep on it and call you tomorrow morning?
Jafar: before 6am or no deal…call Uche
He stepped out of the room like he was the visitor, Abayomi looked at me and I stared back..
When we got back to the living room, Uche was shooting pool with another unknown guy..
Abayomi: where is Jafar?
Uche: him don comot
Abayomi: and he just left us in the room?
Uche: no vex..maybe him tell una bye but una no hear
I definitely knew he didn’t say anything..
Abayomi: na wa o..
Uche: him say make I drop una for una crib
Abayomi: we can find our way..
Is this guy mad?..such a wrong time to form macho..in Aiyegbemi?
Me: Uche come and drop us, Abayomi naa…please let him drop us..
If uche wasn’t with us in the room, Abayomi for don hear am for my hand.
Uche: lets go..

I slept in Abayomi’s house. While Toun and I slept in his bedroom, Abayomi slept in his sitting room. He had promised to get someone who would clean up my room . I wondered where Timi was going to sleep. Maybe Annie’s house…most likely Annie’s house.
Thinking of Timi was coming at a regular. All I wanted was for him to tell me why he broke up with me. I wanted to know if it was because of another girl. i wondered if he had heard something or if I had done something. My thoughts switched to Jafar and the uneasy feeling in my gut lingered. I know Abayomi was going to call Uche anytime from now to accept his proposal.

At school every male was a suspected faeces criminal. I somehow couldn’t imagine a girl squatting in my bed to shit on it. We had free periods after the first lecture, Toun had gone to get us cups of Ice-cream when I got a call
Caller: hello, it’s me Timi
Me: yes?
Timi: was wondering if we could have lunch?
Me: for what?
Timi: just to catch up on old times, it’s been a while we spoke
Me: not interested, I will be very busy.
Timi: why are you being difficult, in the past your stubbornness used to be sexy, now you are just plain mean.
Me: I am mean? Pot calling kettle black
Timi: it’s just lunch dear
Me: I am hanging up if you have nothing else to say
Timi: I have something to say, I miss your plantain and egg.
Me: You are being foolish right now
I hung up
I got a text some minutes later from Abayomi . “I called Uche, I have accepted the deal” , I scrolled down to the end of the message, where the time and date was usually displayed. That was when it hit me, Timi wanted to have lunch with me on his birthday.
Toun: call him and agree for lunch
Me: no I can’t, I am too proud
Toun: so what will you do?
I picked up my phone and sent him a message. “Happy birthday, wishing you the best”
At noon, Toun and I went to the sports cafeteria to eat lunch, their rice and dodo was breathtaking, i still felt guilty that I turned Timi down. Then I saw him walk in with Annie. She was looking as beautiful as ever, wide hips and all.
Toun looked at me with a kind of motherly pity. I tried to ignore them but I had to admit they looked good together. He didn’t see me thankfully, but I think Annie did.
I felt good, very good that he had asked me for lunch before deciding to bring Annie. Or had she rejected before then he asked me before she later accepted?

Episode 9

Acho was inside my house when I got home, I hadn’t intended to stay for long, I just wanted to pick some clothes and move back to Toun’s place, much to Abayomi’s chagrin. I hadnt remembered to collected my spare key from the dude. He was looking good though.
Acho: babe, howfar?
Me: do you know I can arrest you for breaking and entering?
Acho: no breaking na…just entering..
He was smiling
Me: what do you want? Where is my key?
Acho: I still believe we can work, I am sorry for the other night, blame it on the alcohol
Me: no problem, drop the key and leave
Acho: listen to me first na…
He approached me with a confident swag, I walked backwards till I was pressed against a wall.
Me: Acho, what is all this rubbish?
Acho: I miss you, see I am so hard…
He took my hand and placed it on the protruded part of his jean, he was hard. I attempted to slap him but he grabbed my other hand. His mouth forcefully claimed mine. He separated his lips to stick his tongue inside. I pushed him but he was so strong.
Acho: oh..u taste so good…
His chest was pressed against my breast, I was having difficulty breathing…that was when they came in. They were three in number, dressed in all blue, Acho didn’t have the opportunity to turn back before one of them stuck him on the neck. The other two had baseball sticks which they applied on his left hand. Surprisingly, they only hit his left hand and left knee. He kept begging but they stop
Acho: Tana I am sorry, please help me…
It was too much for me too, I had to beg them to stop. I was scared that I was going to be next though. They stopped immediately, the one who struck Acho first spoke.
Guy: how him take enter?
Me: he has my key?
Guy: na your boyfriend?
Me: my ex
The guy dipped his hand into Acho’s pocket and gave me all the keys he found in there. I carefully selected mine. The two other guys lifted Acho up and took him out. My neighbors were peeping from their windows as they bundled Acho into the boot of their Volvo.
Me: please let him go…please..( shouting)
The guy who seemed like their leader just smiled and drove off.
I decided I was not returning to my apartment anymore, I picked up my belongings to Toun’s place. She was waiting for me infront.
Toun: I am so sorry, hope you weren’t hurt?
Me: nooo, but I was scared.
Toun: who are those guys?
Me: how would I know, they don’t stay around. I even thought they were his people until they attacked him, I almost peed on myself.
Toun: I called Abayomi immediately you called me, he is on his way here.
Me: thanks.
Toun: you go chop indomie?
Me: I am not hungry
I was worried about Acho, I wondered if I should alert the police..then I got a message.
“ he wouldn’t be a nuisance anymore….Jafar”
I should have felt Jafar was an angel who rescued me, but it didn’t feel so…it felt like the devil just texted me.
[

After gossiping for a long time, Toun’s mood changed.
Toun: Tee, I want to tell you something that has been eating me up.
Me: tell me
Toun: it’s about my parents
Me: what is the problem?
Toun: my dad has left the house, there is this paralegal that has been causing issues between him and my mum.
Me: I am so sorry, your mum must be devastated
Toun: the painful part is that this girl is the same age as my elder brother.
Me: men can f–k up ehn..with all due respect
Toun: I have stopped accepting his calls and all.
Me: how is your mum taking it?
Toun: she is handling it well, she has told him not to return to the house.
Me: see judge o..hehehehe..
The look Toun gave me could kill.
Me: sorry now..he will have his fill and leave her
Toun: he started sending money anyhow to my account?
Me: you no touch that one too?
Toun: Abayomi is with my ATM, he uses it for the campaign..
I remembered Kofo and I felt very guilty, I would step-down as his assistant if he doesn’t leave that girl I said to myself.
Me: I am so sorry, I would have suggested we go and take Gordon spark and asun but I am still jittery from the earlier episode.
Toun: its alright, I have a bottle of Pink-Lady in the fridge, lets drink

Some three hours later..we were very drunk
Me: I think of Timi all the time
Toun: oh..
Me: I don’t think I ever healed, seeing him with Annie was an eye opener
Toun: I want to stop having sex with Abayomi
Me: why?
Toun: I don’t know why, but for a while now I have not been enjoying it.
Me: why not tell him?
Toun: you know how guys feel after you tell them such, they feel it’s about them.
Me: it isn’t about them?
Toun: I think this is about me
Me: how?
Toun: I don’t know, but I don’t even think of sex unlike before, I was a freak babe.
Me: Abayomi will understand, I think you guys can fix it
Toun: but I like kissing him still, I prefer when he is drunk and wants a quickie, then I just close my eyes till he cums. Ever felt like that?
Me: yes, like after f—–g Acho for a month, his big d–k didn’t help.
Toun: Ah Ahn…too much info…
Me: I am a truthful person..
The evil that alcohol caused that day..
Toun: I have a confession.
Me: what?
Toun: I have always wanted to do something
Me: what?
Toun kissed me.
It started with a series of pecks, my lips were shut. I was surprised…I was shocked. She didn’t stop..her sugary lips tasted nice, I didn’t want to close my eyes, I knew if I did..i would indulge her
I close my eyes..
I felt her tongue on mine, I tasted it, soft and warm…searching and probing…she grabbed my neck and pulled me closer..pulled my top to reveal my jiggling breasts. Her mouth was on my nipples…I grabbed her ass…soft as freshly baked bread..she grabbed mine..in no time we were naked, her fingers found my c——s, I embraced her while she slid in and out of me..then she spread my legs, and worked with her tongue..teasing and tweaking…I pushed her head down…her tongue sliced my V till my teeth started chattering..she came up and kissed me..i tasted me …I tasted her…we came..
As we lay beside each-other that night, I wondered if what was on my mind was the same as what was on her mind..

We had both cheated on Abayomi.

Episode 10

I can’t remember who woke up first, but I knew we started at each other for a while just lying there..
Toun: do you feel bad?
Me: yepz
Toun: because you just had sex with a girl or because of Abayomi?
Me: because of Abayomi and you. I should be a good friend and settle your sex issue, instead I had sex with you.
Toun: this had nothing to do with Abayomi and myself
Me: what about us, how would we be after this?
Toun: it’s a one-time thing, we will laugh about it very soon. Have you been with a girl before?
Me: nope, you?
Toun: what do you think?
Me: I dunno o..
She laughed, picked up her phone and called her boyfriend. He was supposed to come but he hadn’t.
In class the next day, I tried putting my life in a perspective, with the drama that was unfolding in my life, I knew if I didn’t take my studies seriously I was going to seriously fail , I didn’t have an idea how I would turn it all around…but I had to. Toun was beside me, dubbing an assignment from a friend, I was waiting so I would dub from her. I looked at her body, long and lean; she seemed to have moved on from what happened, I decided to push it off my mind.
Toun tapped me with her pen, calling my attention to somebody walking towards us with rage in her eyes. It was Yewande, she came with a friend.
Yewande: why did you send your people to attack my boyfriend. I know you cannot imagine that he could have left you for someone like me, but you took it too far!
I looked at Toun, who was trying as much as possible to ignore us and focus on the assignment
Yewande: his hand and leg are broken, I swear! You will pay
I ignored her as it was becoming embarrassing; the aproko students in my class were already staring.
Yewande: bribing him with money to stay with you was not enough, you had to attack him…you have lost o….
Luckily a lecturer came in and she had to leave, promising me hell later. At this point I was getting tired, I decided I was going to call Abayomi to tell Jafar and his goons to take a chill, or maybe I would need to call Jafar myself. I stepped outside to call Jafar.
Me: hello
Jafar: Hey
It sounded like he was whispering, but it was still audible
Me: about Acho yesterday I think your boys took it too far
Jafar: oh
Me: I don’t want that kind of thing associated with me
Jafar: what thing are we talking about here?
Me: attacks and beatings
Jafar: oh
Me: do I have your word that it would stop?
Jafar: what does my word mean to you?
Me: it would assure me and I would hold on to it
Jafar: meet me in my house by 7pm..
Me: wha…
He hung up.
That guy lacks manners, and he is sick if he thinks I would come to his house, I said to myself.

We were seated when the vice-chancellor came into the conference room. Earlier, Abayomi had called me that we had been summoned by the vice-chancellor for an emergency meeting. National and his deputy were to our left. Prof Akinbiyi, the VC was a man of medium build, his grey hair was bushy. I wondered if most professors generally scattered their hair to look mofasa.
VC: how are u doing?
We answered that we were fine. He didn’t beat around the bush, he wanted to inform us that the school management would support any candidate that won , that we would be partners and if we had any grandiose plans that might conflict with the vision of the school if elected. After the meeting I had the opportunity to explain to Abayomi what had happened earlier when Yewande came to my lecture hall. I told him I wasn’t comfortable with Jafar’s kind of security.
Abayomi: why don’t you want to go?
Me: why should I go?
Abayomi: are you scared?
Me: nope, but I shouldn’t be visiting a guy by 7pm in his house na
Abayomi: I want you to go, I want you to ask him about National’s involvement in the Ijebu-igbo fracas.
Me: why don’t you ask him yourself?
Abayomi: I would be going to Ikenne to campaign to the medical students, Timi and myself.
Me: how is Timi?
Abayomi: he is fine, he sends his regards
Me: tell him I send mine too
Abayomi: you should call the guy sometimes, he misses you.
Me: why should he miss me, he has Annie
Abayomi: does he?
Me: what do you mean?
Abayomi: I think you both should sit down and talk, that’s all..
Me: I hear…how is kofo?
Abayomi: we are over
Me: because I am going to quit if you don’t stop ramming her
Abayomi looked at me and winked.
Toun and I were watching Prison Break in her room when we heard a knock on the door, it was 7pm and I thought Abayomi had changed his mind about going to Ikenne. Uche was by the door.
Uche: hope you are ready?
Me: Jafar sent you?
Uche: yes, I am waiting outside.
Toun: Tee, should I come with you?
Me: nope don’t worry, lemme just change my clothe
Twenty minutes later, Uche drove me to Jafar’s crib.

]As expected a lot of guys were in front of the premises, some guys where in the sitting room playing snooker. With the amount of cash displayed, they were definitely gambling.
Uche: Jafar say make una comot.
He didn’t need to talk much, the guys filed out like they were remote controlled. Uche told me to wait for Jafar, while he left the apartment. I was alone by myself in the premises. I could hear the guys gathering outside, shouting, laughing and always in an excited state. It was clear that Jafar was not around. The AC in the premises was in full throttle, I was dressed in a short gown with a scarf covering my hair, I was cold. After 30minutes I had gotten enough, I decided to leave and was on my way out when I heard a car pull into the drive. I peeped through the window to see Jafar get out the Benz. He brought out some bottles of liquor from his booth, the guys hurriedly took it from him. Then they started singing, songs that talked about freedom from oppression, suppression et al
As he entered the sitting room, I made up my mind I was going to give him a piece of my mind. Jafar was wearing a hooded top with a blue denim jean. His Vuitton frames were brown, sitting well on the bridge of his nose.
Jafar: I am sorry for the delay, I was held up..
Me: I can see
Jafar: goodevening ma’am
Me: good evening Jafar
Jafar: are you hungry?
He stood beside the snooker table, he just asked me If I had eaten like I was his daughter.
Me: I am good. Can we talk about what happened to Acho?
Jafar: yes, but I am very hungry, can u cook?
Me: I beg your pardon?
Jafar: I am not a very good cook, but I try to.
Me: Jafar, its late…lets talk so I can go.
He looked at me and smiled. Some minutes later he came back with a canned Coke and gave me. He went back inside his room and when he came back, he was on singlet and a boxer short.
Jafar: lets talk in the kitchen, I am famished.
Me: ermmmm….ok…
The kitchen looked very tidy, I was sure it was so because of the amount of girls that visited. The kitchen was bigger than my room, I admitted to myself.
Jafar: my favorite food is Yam and egg, what is yours?
Me: Rice, jollof.
Jafar: do you like fish?
Me: yes
He smiled as he brought out some fresh tomatoes and pepper from a fridge with a transparent door.
Jafar: you will see some eggs behind you, while you deal with that I will peel the yams..
Me: what are you trying to do?
Jafar: we are cooking, later we eat..then we talk.
I quietly started cutting the tomatoes….
Me, Chief Dike’s daughter.

The food came out well, at least it looked good. He ate in the kitchen , quietly like I wasn’t around. He had insisted I eat with him but I declined. He didn’t seem like someone that cooked his meals, it was sexy I must admit. After eating, he started washing the dishes, that was when he started talking..
Jafar: so what problem do you have with how Acho was handled?
Me: that was not the kind of security I wanted.
Jafar: I heard he almost raped you
Me: nope! He was my boyfriend until two weeks ago, I guess he just wanted to prove a point
Jafar: I thought Timi was your boyfriend.
I was speechless for a while
Me: Timi is an ex too
He laughed, laughter that exposed his teeth. When he laughed he seemed to have difficulty breathing, he laughed in bits.
Jafar: you dey vex o…you just dey ex all of them.
That didn’t sound funny to me so I kept a straight face. He took out his phone and called some to come meet him in the kitchen. The guy came and took away the yam that remained in the pot and the eggs in the frying pan.
Me: are you their father or what, how old are you?
Jafar: 26
Me: what are you?
Jafar: I am a guy…lol
Me: you know what I mean
Jafar: I don’t ma’am
Me: you are a cultist?
He laughed again. He laughed like I was kid asking why mummy had a big tummy.
Jafar: what do you think?
Me: I think you are a cultist
Jafar: hahahahahaha..
Me: aint you?
Jafar: cultism is otokoto shii..all them blood money n all…
Me: so you are what?
Jafar: Confra….
Me: what is the difference?
Jafar: we fight for black man’s liberation
Me: you believe your bullshit?
Jafar: bullshit?
Me: you kill yourselves in campus, intimidate and all
Jafar: there are bad eggs in every organization. When Wole introduced Confra to the university, it was for social equalization. Rich or poor, everybody being equal..no matter the tribe and all. The military hijacked it and started bribing our boys to intimidate people. Later political criminals started using them for election violence. Unfortunately, it has given us a bad name.
Me: so why involve yourself with it, you seem very intelligent.
Jafar: to have brothers with a common goal, to protect the oppressed and suppressed…to protect people like you…fend for people you would probably never know about.
I realized we were getting nowhere; I had to shift back to Acho’s matter.
Me: you can protect the Abayomi and the other peeps…leave me out of it.
Jafar: I can’t.
Me: why?
Jafar: you are an investment now; I am responsible for your safety.
Me: you are saying I don’t have a choice?
Jafar: as regards your safety, you don’t…I am sorry ma.
Me: I don’t like the way you handled Acho’s issue
Jafar: ok, we will reduce violence to the minimal
Me: thank you.
Jafar: now that we have an agreement, can you shoot pool?
Me: nope.
Jafar: come let me teach you.
Me: not interested, thanks though.
He was already moving to the sitting room, I had to follow, no be my kitchen na?
He gave me a stick, placed a white ball and a red ball on the snooker table.
Jafar: now you are going to learn how to hit a ball with the cue ball. The cue ball is the white ball, the stick is called the cue stick.
Me: its like you didn’t hear me, I am not interested.
He led me to the table, stood at my back. He grabbed my left hand and used it as a rest on the table, my right hand held the butt of the cue stick. My bum was crested on his crotch, his shoulder enclosed mine as he tried guiding me to take the shot. I could smell him, I could hear his heartbeat. I wondered if he heard mine. The last time I felt this tense was when Timi held me for the first time.
Jafar: in snooker, you, your eyes, your stick and the cue ball have to be one, they have to trust each-other. Your aim is the other ball…the middle of the other ball.. remember trust is everything…he whispered in my ears. His lips brushed my ear lobe.
The shot I made was the worse shot he had ever seen, he had to admit.

Episode 11

After a couple more futile shots, I told him I really had to leave. While we played, we talked about various topics; I realized he was very smart. He also avoided some questions tactfully like when I asked him about his parents.
Jafar: Uche will drop you off, lemme call him. Do me well to send my best regards to Abayomi and Timi.
Me: you keep mentioning Timi, what’s that about?
Jafar: they are both members of your team, is there any reason why you are touchy about him?
I shrugged.
Me: Uche is taking forever, where can I get a cab around?
Jafar: lemme drop you off.
I didn’t know if I wanted that, being associated with a cultist or Confra as he calls it especially during the election period. But instead of saying no, I followed him to his Benz.
The car moved like him, quiet and efficient. He had a marc Anthony cd on. The track playing was “when you sang to me”. Unfortunately….very unfortunately…I liked the song.

‘of all the words you said to me about life, the truth and being free, yea..you sang to me’
I sang along shamelessly. He would look at me sometimes and giggle. The ride was almost feeling like a normal one until I noticed the Volvo that was following us through the rear mirror, same Volvo that carried off Acho’s sorry ass.
Me: your goons are following us?
Jafar: you also have a problem with my guys following me?
Me: what are you…Mr president?
Jafar: I am number 1
He said it so casually, that I couldn’t even condemn him. But my mind went through stories I have heard about what it takes to be number 1. I looked at his hand and wondered the evil he had done. I wondered how they hurt him during his initiation…I didn’t like the imagination of people hurting him. I was getting stupid. Then we got to the front of Toun’s house.
Jafar: see you soon
Me: very funny, there is one question I wanted to ask you. Do you think we will win, like honestly?
Jafar: with everything we have invested, that’s a lot of faith don’t you think?
Me: answer my question
Jafar: we can only do our best and hope it comes out well…we will do just fine
Me: bye…thanks for the ride
Jafar: thanks for the food
Me: very funny…
I noticed the Volvo stride behind the Benz as they drove away. I walked up to the door and was about to knock when I heard Toun moan. Listening carefully, I heard the grunt of the guy straffing my friend. I waited for about 15 minutes before I knocked. I hoped it wasn’t what I thought; I hoped it wasn’t another guy. It would have crushed me if it wasn’t Abayomi. When Toun opened the door and I saw his idiotic smile smile satisfied with his booty call, I abused him.
Me: na so konji catch you reach
Abayomi: no be you kidnap my girlfriend
Me: Jafar sends his regards
Abayomi: people in Ikenne send theirs
Me: Toun, how far?
Toun: where you the one standing by the door?
Me: oh, you noticed, I though you didn’t?
Toun: I did, I was hoping it wasn’t Isaac, he is fond of eavesdropping when Abayomi comes to sleep over
Me: who is Isaac?
Toun: Landlord’s son.
Abayomi: I have to go now
Toun: ehen now, you have gotten what you came for.
Abayomi: oya lets go to my house. Spend the night
Toun: I can’t leave my friend
I brought out my tongue, Abayomi ignored me.
Me: so how is Timi?
Abayomi: he is at a Annie’s place. He fell sick on our way back. Malaria I guess.
Me: he will be sleeping there?
Abayomi: lool…why is that your biz?
Me: I am just concerned
Toun and Abayomi laughed at me.

Days flew past and thankfully there was no threat to my security. I moved back to my apartment after Abayomi bribed me with paid lunch for a month. The guy wanted to screw his chic and I was a hindrance, plus I was still feeling uneasy about I and Toun’s parole. Unfortunately for Abayomi though, she spent a lot of time in my house. One of those times when she spent the night, Chibuzor, my neighbor nearest to the gate became born-again. We were swallowing garri and soup when someone started shouting . i identified the voice as Chibuzor’s.
Chibuzor: Holy God, I accept this anointing, I accept this cup….my lord …my Jesus..old things are passed away..no more bad bad things.
We were laughing inside the room when we heard a crash..Chibuzor did not open his door, he broke his door and stood arms akimbo in the compound. He was shouting so loud, everybody came out of their rooms
Chibuzor: Satan is a liar, my soul belongs to Jesus, mary, peter, mark, luke Isaiah, moses, noah, Daniel, Jacob, father Abraham, Michael, aaron, Elijah,Solomon, Ezekiel…
The list of biblical names continued,…..Job, Hannah, Samson .. I noticed his girlfriend crying infront of their room, I looked at Toun bewildered only to see the mumu Laughing.
Me: what is funny?
Toun: cant I laugh again?
I ignored her and walked to Chibuzor’s girlfriend, she was scared
Me: why are you crying?

Girlfriend: someone should please help him
Me: from being born-again?
Girlfriend: which born-again? He just finished eating and started praying seriously, I joined him as a supportive girlfriend until I heard “in Ojukwu’s name I pray” I got worried but I continued with him. Then he started preaching to me.
By this time, some neighbours stood beside me to listen to her
Girlfriend: he shouted and said “ woman, you have demons in your toto, demons that have been depriving me of A, B ONLY D,E and F”.
Toun: is that true?
I gave Toun a dirty stare. Then looked at Chibuzor, he was doing push-ups, the girlfriend went to him at this point.
Girlfriend: baby why are you doing push-ups?
Chibuzor: I am not your baby, I am married to Jesus, Jezebel leave me alone.
She started crying, I realized it was getting out of hand, I immediately called Timi.
Me: hello
Timi: hello Nkem
Me: quit the crap. I need you ASAP
Timi: any problem?
Me: hurry, come with your car.
Timi came into the compound in thirty minutes. By then Chibuzor was anointing us in the compound with buckets of water, as we ran, he chased us..shouting “ Unclean spirit, LEAVE!”
Timi walked into Chibuzors room and came out with a plate of beans.
Me: you want to eat his left-over, if you are hungry, we have garri na.
Timi smiled and walked to Chibuzor’s girlfriend.
Timi: wetin una put inside the beans?
Girlfriend: nothing
Timi: have you eaten?
Girlfriend: I haven’t..
Toun started laughing loudly; a couple of hisses were rained on her
Timi: your boyfriend put over-dose of weed in the beans.
Chibuzor’s girlfriend looked puzzled, but cried on.
Me: we have to take him to the hospital
Timi: yep, give me a bucket of water..
Toun got a bucket of water and gave Timi.
As Chibuzor saw Timi approach with the water, he started jubilating
Chibuzor: I anoint with water, but he that comes after me anoints with the holy-spirit, come my lord, I am not fit to untie your sandals.
Ok…I admit I laughed at this point.
Timi Aka son of God, doused Chibuzor with the water and he became a little disoriented. He tossed Toun the keys of his car, for her to drive, while I sat in front with her and he held Chibuzor at the back with his girlfriend at the other side. Toun could drive manual, I couldn’t. Our destination was Best-care hospital. As we drove along Olopomerin road, I saw a car follow us .
A Volvo.

Episode 12
Chibuzor kept saying incoherent words at the back of the vehicle. His girlfriend was still crying while Toun laughed and drove.
I was not happy about the Volvo tailing us. So I texted Jafar. “Oga tell your boys to stop following me” I wondered if weed was indeed this powerful. I had never smoked one before.
Chibuzor: I want to swim
We all acted like we didn’t hear. I wondered what Timi was doing when I called him. I wondered if my calling him was just an excuse to see him. My phone beeped, signaling a message.
“Night Ma’am”, Jafar’s message said.
I looked at the side mirror to see if the Volvo was still following us, there it was..all big and Ugly. I was cursing Jafar under my breathe when I noticed the Volvo slow down to take a right turn. “thanks”, I texted Jafar.
“lol”, he texted back
Chibuzor : I believe I can fly
Once again we ignored him. Getting to the hospital, we held Chibuzor and forcefully took him into the reception where some members of staff checked him in. while Toun and I remained in the reception, Timi and Chibuzor’s girlfriend followed him inside. As they led him in he shouted “PDP”, the people around the hospital laughed in return.
I saw a figure limp toward me, I felt bad for whoever it was that had the broken leg. Until I noticed it was Acho. Beside him was Yewande, holding him has he limped on. I felt very bad, the normally proud Acho that walked with swag looked pitiful.
As soon as he saw me, he looked in the other direction, but Yewande looked at me and hissed. She left her boyfriend and came to me.
Yewande: have you seen what you have caused? When I am finished with you, you will regret ever being in this school.
I kept quiet but Toun was having none of it.
Toun: You cannot do more than a hanging pant!
Sometimes I wondered if Toun’s father was a judge or she was adopted.
Yewande: Mrs PA, na bottle we go use tear your mouth
Toun: Razzo! Bottles aint for fighting dear, its for drinks. Stooping to your level is pretty ridiculous mehn..
Chai, if they beat me because of Toun’s mouth, our friendship is over.
Yewande: Ehen, because your people get money, you think you are all that?
Toun: f–k off jor! You and your messed up boyfriend.
Yewande smiled, informing us we would hear from her soon.
Timi came out some minutes later, informing us that Chibuzor had been admitted and his chic would be spending the night with him in the hospital. Timi got a call.
Timi: Hey Annie….
…..sure, I am on my way
…..no problem.
He hung up.
Timi: Nkem…I have to leave you guys..Annie needs a lift
Me: No problem , thanks for coming at such short notice.
Toun: thanks dear
Toun hugged him, he came to me for a hug too, I blanked the heart robber.
Timi: I can give you guys tfare thou
Me: don’t worry, we have enough with us.
Toun: my regards to Annie.
I might just end up poisoning Toun, I thought to myself.

Now, the truth was that we didn’t have tfare back to the house. We left our purses in the room. Toun called Abayomi to come pick us up at Bele. So we walked to Bele to chill for him. As usual, the place was filled with students drinking different brands of beers. Toun spotted kofo and told me that we should walk up to her.
Kofo: hey Toun, Tana, babes howfar?
Toun: we dey o
Me: Kofo howfar. Are you here alone or you came with a friend?
Kofo: I came with a group of friends. It’s a friend of mine’s birthday
Toun: oh, so how is the campaign going?
Kofo: It is going well, I think Timi is doing a good job
Toun: what of Abayomi, you think he will be a good president?
Kofo stammered abit, like her, I didn’t know what Toun was up to.
Kofo: I think so, but I should be asking you, you be him babe na..
Toun: but we are both straffing him na?
I wished the floor would swallow me. Something told me she knew I was aware of the ‘fuckage’.
Kofo: what do you mean, what kind of accusation is that? We are just friends o..
Toun smiled and turned to me.
Toun: Tee lets leave here, she disgusts me.
I quietly followed Toun. I wanted to apologize for keeping it from her but I kept my mouth shut.
Me: isn’t Abayomi supposed to pick us up here?
Toun: I will text him to meet us at bebe
Me: how did you find out about Kofo?
Toun: I found out a while ago, and I know u knew about it
Me: Abayomi has ended it
Toun: I know that too, rememnber those geeks that came requesting you drop kofo as the campaign manager?
Me: yes
Toun: I told them to put it in the contract.
Me: you are dangerous o
Toun: I am not dangerous; I am just protecting what’s mine
Me: why didn’t you break up with him?
Toun: whats the probability that I would find someone better who wouldn’t cheat? Atleast when I deprive him of sex sometimes, I don’t feel guilty.
Me: oh
We were lost in our talk that we didn’t see a car pull over beside us. Before I could say jack, Toun and I were bundled inside the car.
There was two guys at opposite sides of the door guiding Toun and I, the glasses of the car was tinted while the stereo was at full blast.
Guy in front : Na you wan be vice-president abi?

We were driven around blind-folded for a long time before the car stopped. When my eyes were opened, I realized we were in an incomplete building. Toun and I were tied down to a chair on sitting position. I started thinking of my parents and my sister. Is it worth to lose my life just because of University presidency? The person I was doing it for was probably enjoying himself somewhere now. The guys that brought us in left us alone for about fifteen minutes before another guy came in. he was an albino…a scary looking albino.
Albino guy: Tana, Toun welcome
Me: what are we doing here, people will realize we are missing and you will be in trouble
Toun: serious trouble o, do you know the daughter of whom I am?
Albino guy: my name is Skanty..
He smiled exposing very ugly yellow looking teeth.
Skanty: what are you looking for in SUG?
Me: what is the big deal that you are kidnapping us?
Skanty: its not a game for people like you and Abayomi, why not face your studies and graduate?
Toun: why not release us before you get into trouble?
Skanty smiled again, this time he brought out a metallic object that looked like a gun…was a gun
Toun: Jesu….
Me: what do you want from us?
Skanty: You will call Abayomi and tell him to step down, tell him u and Toun’s lives are on the line. If he tells the police, you are in trouble. As soon as we verified that he has stepped down, you are free..its that easy
Me: you can’t be serious
His eyebrow shut up like I just said the most stupid thing possible. He got our phones and left the compartment.
Me: Toun are you scared
Toun: not really. Abayomi will step down and we will be free
Me: but I dnt like blackmail. It’s not fair
Toun: I am just tired, its trouble every time since he declared for this position
Twisting my neck, I looked at town as she looked helpless sitting on the chair.
Toun: I want to pee
Me: me too
We kept quiet for a while, and then I started laughing for no reason. Toun looked at me like I was mad, then she started laughing too. After a while my laughter turned to crying, as expected..Toun started crying too. It just dawned on us that we might be killed.

I didn’t know the time it was, but it was morning when the Albino came around. He brought us slices of bread and tea.
Me: we want to Pee
Toun: and take our bath
Skanty: to pee is okay, but taking your bath?… not possible..
Skanty scratched his head like he was wondering how he was gonna make us pee. He brought out his gun and told loosened Toun from the chair. He did same with me.
Skanty: now pull your clothes, everything…
Toun: we just wanna pee…no need to pull all our clothes
He started shouting..
Skanty: pull all your clothes now!
I started pulling mine; it took Toun a few minutes to join me. When we were stark naked, he told us to pee.
Me: we should pee here?…isn’t there any toilet
Skanty’s attention was on my boobs and shaved V. he didn’t bother answering me. Toun faced the wall, squatted and peed. The sound of her pee triggered mine. I spread my legs and peed standing…I noticed Skanty’s erection..pervert !
Me: give me the phone let me call Abayomi
Skanty: so soon? I was just enjoying myself…
When he gave me the phone, I made the call..
Me: hello..
…Toun and I have been kidnapped..
….you are to step down so they can release us…
…please hurry..
He didn’t say anything as I spoke..all I heard was a hmmmm…then Jafar hung up.

Episode 13

How Jafar was going to rescue me from the shit I put myself was beyond comprehension. Maybe I should have just allowed that stupid Volvo follow me around. Thoughts of Timi filtered into my brain. I wondered if I wouldn’t see him again, I wondered if I wouldn’t be able to run my fingers through his hair as he slept, hold him again. I thought about Abayomi, he would have been worried shitless now. Toun sat upright on the chair she was strapped on, if you didn’t look clearly, you would think she was conducting an interview. I was beginning to think there was something more to this SUG than met the eyes.
Skanty brought oatmeal for us at lunch, I had decided his brain also had melanin problem but I kept that to myself. He came in shirtless, never seen an albino with six-packs before, he had a good physique.
Skanty: No news from your people yet
Me: You will hear from them soon
Skanty: we cant keep feeding you guys here o, make una answer us fast
Toun: you are not a student of our school
Skanty: yes na
Toun: which school?
Skanty: don’t bother yourself with that..
He said this exposing those horrible teeth.
I must have slept off because I woke up to the sound of a car. I so hoped it was the police or somebody that came for us. If I was free again, I was going to look for Timi and tell him how I felt. I loved Timi. The silence that came afterwards was very depressing. It must have been one of them.
Toun: you thought someone had come for us?
Me: yes
Toun: me too
I noticed she was trying to stay calm, but tears were flowing down her face.
Toun: I have to call Abayomi myself, he has to step-down
Me: I just nodded
I wondered what the guarantee was that they wouldn’t do away with us even if Abayomi stepped down. I heard somewhere that if Kidnappers didn’t cover their faces when you are kidnapped then its most likely that you will be killed.
Me: Toun I love you.
Toun: I love you too
This time it was Skanty’s voice that woke us up. He came in with the other guys that kidnapped us. They swept the dirts around us, the stench of the urine was reduced by the water they poured on it. It was getting dark, I wanted to ask why they were cleaning the area up, but I kept quiet. I looked at Toun, wanted to remind her about speaking to Abayomi, but she was asleep.
Then the most remarkable thing happened after they finished cleaning. A familiar person walked into the compartment.
Jafar: time to go home ladies…
I was so happy, I wanted to run and hug him but I realized I was strapped.
Toun had problems walking, after being in sitting position all that time. Jafar carried her, her head rested on his chest as he led us out of the uncompleted building.
Jafar: I brought fried chicken and Krest
I didn’t answer him, I had a couple of questions to ask him but I didn’t. like how did he find us?
Instead I looked for his hands with mine, and held on to it as we walked out. Skanty looked at us with a smile, I was sure our nakedness was in his head.
Toun: thank you Abayomi…
She muttered with eyes closed.. I wanted to correct her that it wasn’t her Abayomi that was carrying her. It was My Jafar.
My Jafar.

He placed Toun on the back seat , as she started regaining her senses.
Toun: who are you?
Jafar: Jafar
Toun: oh
Jafar: happy to finally meet you, Abayomi will be waiting for you
Toun: thank you
Me: awww the poor boy
Jafar: I am sure Timi is waiting for you too..
I smiled.
Skanty followed outside, and only went back when we started to leave.
Me: who are they?
Jafar: they are mercenaries
Me: I don’t get
Jafar: they are guys that are brought in from other schools to carry out operations that people from that school wouldn’t be able to carry out themselves
Me: do they like….rape and kill…?
Jafar: most times its about just guys and yes… they kill.
It was dark and he still drove with speed.
Me: so who sent them and how did you know who got us and how did you get us out?
Jafar: someone that doesn’t want Abayomi to be president. Asking the right people around, we found out the people that abducted you and brought enough money to trump that which was given to them by their client. I begged the Albino to accept the money, he laughed at my face a couple of times.
Me: those ugly teeth
Jafar: yeah..
Me: how much?
Jafar: You wan pay?
me: awww, so you had to use your money to get us out?
Jafar: yes, temporarily..
After a while, of driving I saw a car infront flash its lights.. he flashed back in return.. the Volvo parked beside his benz. The driver stuck out his head..
Uche: howfar?
Jafar: cool…same premises, they might leave in the morning bring back my brown envelope and the Albino..
Uche: what of the remaining guys?
I recognized the remaining guys in the Volvo, the same guys that handicapped Acho..
Jafar: just the Albino.

Jafar dropped us at Abayomi’s house. I felt guilty that I had reprimanded him for providing me with protection. As his Benz drove off, I thanked God for him. I thought of the Skanty, and even though I felt violated by him, I felt bad about what was going to happen to him. But who was I to tell Jafar not to do what he wants?
Abayomi was overjoyed when we stepped in. I actually saw tears of joys in his eyes as he carried Toun up..
Abayomi: I thought I would never see you guys again.
Toun: I love u.
Abayomi: I love you more.
Abayomi didn’t know that Toun knew he was bunking Kofo. Well, it is said that sex isnt an expression of love by guys, na we girls dey carry am for head.
Seeing them love-up, I thought of Timi, I so wanted to be in his arms right now..i didn’t realize I missed that stupid boy so much. It was as if Abayomi was reading my thoughts for he said, “Timi has been worried sick”
Me: I see.
He went to Ibogun to campaign to the engineering students, he wants to see you tonight.
Me: I want to sleep. Can I sleep in your house tonight?
Toun: ofcuz you can, Abayomi will sleep in the parlor..
Abayomi: but baby I want to hold you tonight
Toun: Tana and I will sleep in your bed period. If not for you we wouldn’t have been kidnapped.
I didn’t really want to deprive Abayomi of his girlfriend tonight, I know I wanted to be with Timi.
Me: I will sleep in the parlour
Toun: serious?
Me: yes, but you guys shouldn’t have that annoying noisy sex o…keep it low..
Toun: idiot..
There was a knock on the door. My heart skipped as the happenings of the previous day jerked my chest. Timi walked into the room with his beautiful face. He didn’t acknowledge the greetings of Abayomi nor Toun, he just walked up to me and kissed me. Full on the lips…I let him.
Timi: what happened to you guys, where were you people?
Me: Abayomi didn’t tell you?
Timi: Tell me what?
Abayomi: I didn’t want him to know, when Jafar informed me, he told me not to tell anybody
Timi: but I am not anybody to Tana! So what happened?
I felt on top of the world
Abayomi told him…as they discussed, Toun and I went to take our bath. In the bathroom, all naked, we held each other , nothing sexual..our nipples getting hard was just as a result of the cold water washing away our dirtiness.
When we got back to the parlor, Timi shared the suya burger he had brought in. Suya burger was prepared by opening the popular Agege bread , putting Suya with excess amount of pepper and tomatoes in it, then heating it up. I craved it..Timi gets me, I concluded.

]I had expected Abayomi and Toun to stay longer so I can just keep looking at Timi, but they retired early. leaving me and him in the parlor, without anything to talk about.
Me: you shouldn’t kiss me, you have a girlfriend.
Timi: I am sorry, I couldn’t help myself
Me: I should have stopped you it is my fault.
Timi: I am sorry about what you went through, I wish I had known..
Me: what will you have done?
Timi: cried like mad..
We both laughed. It was funny how everything looked how it was when we were dating, I still don’t know why this boy left me. I know he liked me, maybe not as much as I want.
Me: its time for you to bounce, its late
Timi: I thought you would want me to stay here with you, after what you went through..
Me: don’t worry, I am fine, you can go.
As he walked to the door, I wish I had told him to stay. I wondered if it was too late to. His broad shoulders looked so appealing, something I would want to hold as I slept.
Just like that the door closed and Timi was gone. I rushed to the door so I can open it and watch him go. The idiot was waiting when I opened the door, he had that stupid ‘I know you would come’ smile on his baby face. I smiled too
Me: you can spend the night, but we would have to sleep on the floor.
Timi: thank you
Me: its just because I am still scared.
Timi: I know
Me: you must go before Abayomi or Toun wake’s up
Timi: yes ma
Me: don’t even think of touching me..
Timi: no problem ma
Me: good.

Some minutes later, we both lay down beside each other, my back was turned to him, but his long masculine hands wrapped me in that way that I had missed so much.
Me: why did you leave me?
Timi: im sorry
Me: I need an answer, Timi, just tell me so I can close this chapter
Timi : babe..lets let it go
I wanted to talk some more but I let him have his way. I was satisfied with where I was. I didn’t want to get angry.
I felt him move closer to me , but I didn’t react. i was wearing one of Toun’s sleeping gowns..my soft big bum was resting against his crotch. I felt him harden as he moved closer. I remembered when he used to tell me my bum was bigger than my future. I would chase him down the room then..good old days. I didn’t do it consciously, but I realized I was shooting my bum backwards to grind him.
Timi: I missed you
I kept quiet, even as his hands went beneath the gown and found the way to my t–s. On his way to my t–s, his hands brushed my naked bums. Didn’t I tell this guy not to touch me?
Timi: Your body…your body…
I abruptly turned and faced him..
Me: don’t touch me.
Timi ignored me, instead he kissed me again. This time his lips didn’t come off. Like it was daring me. I could taste him, his sweet lips, I could smell him, that masculine wonderful scent. My hands rested on his chest, wanting to push him back but I ended up pulling him closer. His fingers went beneath my gown again, and located my Vee, he rubbed me gently till I felt hot fluid fill the area. I moaning gently..i kissed him, s—-d his tongue gently, to stop me from crying out.. my brain kept telling me to stop.. but I was weak…I knew I had to stop..
I pushed him away and stood up.
Me: Abayomi!
He didn’t answer..
Me: Abayomi!
He came running out of the room, Toun followed closely behind him
Me: Abayomi, come and sleep in the parlor with Timi
Toun had a smile on her face, I didn’t know why she was smiling until I looked at myself, the hardness of my nipples roared from the gown.
Abayomi: chai, Timi, you no get house?
Timi: f–k you bruv
Abayomi went into the room and came back with a pillow. He kept hissing as he lay down.
I entered the room with Toun, only to find an opened but unused condom beside her pillow. I felt bad for Abayomi once again.
But most especially, I felt bad for myself. Timi was in my heart again.

To be continued
